سینمای ایران در طی سالیان متمادی، رشد و بالندگی اش در عرصه های گوناگون را مرهون تلاش هنرمندانی بوده که در عرصه های مختلف برای پیشرفت هنر هفتم کوشیده اند. مجموعه مستند «سینمای ایران»، محصول «موسسه تصویر شهر» بوده و «رضا میرکریمی» تهیه کنندگی آن را با هدف تکریم و معرفی فعالیت های هنرمندان سینمای این مرز و بوم بر عهده داشته است. مستند جفت شش درباره «مسعود کیمیایی» است.
