About Dabestane Parsi ( Persian Elementary School )
Based on surviving documents from the Zoroastrians of Yazd, Indian Zoroastrians who had migrated to established schools called Parsi Schools. They later transferred ownership of these schools to Muslims and left Yazd. During the Constitutional Revolution and World War II, these schools contributed to the flourishing of education and learning, leaving a significant impact on surrounding cities and regions, including Shiraz, Sistan and Baluchestan, and others. This documentary examines the story of the founding of these modern schools in over a span of 100 years (1878–1978).
