The young Naser Al-din Shah has ordered the death sentence of his favorite prime minister Amirkabir and all the court, his women, the government and the country are going through great changes. Meanwhile, in Kuhsar village of Tajrish, Khadijeh the daughter of Muhammad Ali Najjar, is harboring a fiery love for a young man named Siyavash in her heart.

Mahd ‘Olia who is worried about the king’s distress, seeks a solution for him to restore his spirit. Siavash’s journey to Panj Sang takes too long and the king sends a group of people to Kuhsar, to Mohammad Ali Najar’s.

The king’s envoys arrive at Kuhsar with gifts. News spread in the village that the king intends to wed Mohammad Ali Najar’s daughter. The locals are over the moon and go to Mohammad Ali’s place carrying with them drums to celebrate, but Jeyran feels agitated…

Siyavash stays in an inn on his way back from Panj Sang. Meanwhile, the caravan that was carrying Georgian Sara to Tehran arrives. A group of bandits attack the inn during the night. Siyavash saves Sara's life but gets injured. Jeyran is anxious. She doesn't want to go to the court, but who is she to reject the king's offer?

Jeyran is taken to visit his highness, but the king does not want a sad depressed Jeyran, so he lets her go until the day she would put on a red scarf for the king's sake in Saf-e- Salam. Siyavash arrives but Jeyran is gone. Where to? The king's court.

Salman has found out about Siyavash and is lurking to arrest him. Meanwhile, the king is still waiting for Jeyran to put on the red scarf, but Jeyran continues to avoid it.

As promised, Siyavash gets released after Jeyran puts on the red scarf. Salman asks Siyavash to join the sentinels, but he refuses and returns to Kouhsar, enraged and upset of the way he was treated. In Kouhsar, Nane Ashoub tells him that he should get back to the castle.

Attempting to strengthen his position, the prime minister is thinking about marrying his son to the princess. Siyavash returns to the sentinels. He's supossed to accompany the king while hunting. Jeyran finds out about this and gets concerned, wondering if he's up to something.

.Having managed to get her way, Jeyran accompanies the king in the hunting trip, yet she deosn't mean to hunt. What she did has made the feathers fly in the castle. The king's half brother, Abbas Mirza, is the ruler of Ghom and his mother, Khadijeh Chahrighi, dreams of his becoming the king. Also, who is Khajeh Rowshan and who does he serve?

Mirza Agha Khan talks to Mahd Olya about his son marrying the princess. Still mourning for Amir Kabir, the princess rejects her mother's plan. Taji advises the princess to enlist Jeyran's help in convincing the king to refuse Mirza Agha Khan's proposal. But it's never easy to destroy Mahd Olya's plans.

The princess finds it hard to accept to attend the proposal party. Mahd Olya does not tolerate her defiance and her fury drags Jeyran into this as well. While the king is struggling with the problem of women in harem, Naneh Ashoub discloses some secrets to Siyavash.
